They focused on the evolution of HealthNet, the organization's longtime information and communication network for health professionals, and the lessons learned during twelve years of experience in bridging the digital divide. Central to the discussions was the fact that in development efforts such as the HealthNet model, the technology is a means to an end. It was and is the integration of the technology with high quality, relevant information that has empowered health professionals in SATELLIFE's HealthNet community.
