will be held in Warsaw on October 29 - 30, 2001.
The conference will take place at the Maria Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology in Warsaw and it will be a continuation of two previous conferences, which took place in May, 1998 and in June, 2000. For the third time the conference is organized with collaboration of World Bank.
Faculty Members of the 2001 conference will consist with prominent scientists and public health leaders, including Walter Willett, professor of the Harvard University in Boston, USA, one of the most prestigious specialist in diet and health, and professor Pekka Puska, Director of the WHO-HQ Health Promotion Department in Geneva, Switzerland, and of the National Public Health Institute in Helsinki, Finland, a creator of the most successful population-based intervention project on diet and health.
