  • E-DRUG: HGH advert spam

-----------------------

dear E-druggers

Some E-druggers complained to me that they had received a SPAM email
from hgh@best-anti-aging.com containing an advert promoting HGH (Human
Growth Hormone).

The advert is for HGH and like a pyramid scheme: you forward it to 5 people and
automatically get a free sample.

HGH is a prescription-only drug, and is illegally misused by athletes and
body builders. Spamming is bad enough, but spamming illegal substances is
dangerous and should be actively stopped.

We would like to find out how they got our email addresses. Our list of
email addresses is protected, but our archives are publicly available at
http://www.healthnet.org/programs/edrug.html

Could I therefore ask whether an E-drugger who has NEVER submitted a
message, also got this spam email? If so, please send me an email at
WilbertBannenberg@compuserve.com We will then have to review our
security in the E-drug server.

kind regards
