Pharmacy is seeking qualified applicants for a 12-month
full-time tenure track assistant or associate professor 
position with an emphasis on quantitative assessment in 1) economic
evaluation of pharmaceutic
als, 2) pharmaceutical policy analysis, or 3) pharmaceutical outcomes
research.  The primary appointment will be in the Department
of Pharmacy with the potential for a joint or adjunct appointment in the
Department of Health Services or Department of Epid
emiology. A PhD, Sc.D., or Dr.P.H. in a related discipline (e.g. pharmacy,
health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or health
policy) is required. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with
experience.

\par The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent
research program within a research-intensive environment
and to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary faculty.  Active
participation in the graduate program and contribut
ion, through teaching, to the entry-level PharmD program will be a
requirement.  Preference will be given to candidates with
academic focus and publications in the area of economic evaluation of
pharmaceuticals or drug policy analysis.
