[indices] Tigecycline (Tygacil)

Tigecycline, a glycylcycline antibiotic related to the tetracyclines, has been approved in the EU to treat complicated skin, soft tissue and intra-abdominal infections. It is claimed to be effective against MRSA and vancomycin-resistant enterococci.

It would be interesting to find out more about safety data/ side effect profile.
