Dear Colleagues

I don't know if this will add to what you have found
already or not:

Lexicomp Drug Information Handbook claims that 15% of
patients suffer from amblyopia (Dimness of vision,
especially when occurring in one eye without apparent
physical defect or disease. Also called lazy eye.)

Micromedex has:
A. OCULAR EFFECTS
1. Oral therapy with relatively high doses of
mycophenolic acid in psoriasis patients has been
associated with OCULAR CHANGES, including nuclear
sclerotic CATARACTS, BLEPHARITIS, KERATITIS, GLAUCOMA,
and MACULAR ABNORMALITIES (Epinette et al, 1987).
These complications have not been reported in heart or
renal transplant recipients treated with mycophenolate
mofetil.
2. In a clinical trial, BLURRED VISION was reported in
de novo renal transplant patients receiving delayed
release mycophenolic acid in combination with
cyclosporine and corticosteroids (Prod Info
Myfortic(R), 2004).
