It would be good to get more details of the ADR. On a general note I agree
with Wilbert. Diclofenac Injection is widely and inappropriately used. In
many counties it is marketed as a generic without a package insert or data
sheet. If you look at the datasheet of the branded product (Voltaren) you
will see that there are very specific instructions on the method of IM
injection and also that it is limited for a maximum of 2 days treatment.
This information is not always passed on my generic manufacturers or
regulatory authorities (perhaps a more general problem ?)
