INDICES> RFI: Rifadin? (3)
-----------------------------------
Rifadin (Trade mark) is a product of Aventis pharma. It contains only
RIfampicin 150mg (Caps) and the syrup has Rifampicin 100mg/5ml. The
capsules are blue/red in colour. It is highly unlikely that what you
are talking about is Rifadin. The FDCs are the ones that come in
tablet
form. Rifampicin manufactured by Norvatis is red/brown in colour but
is a
capsule
GOing by your description, The pink Maroon tablets are likely to be
Rifater (trade mark) , a combination of Rifampicin 120mg, Pyrazinamide
300mg
and Isoniazide 50mg per tablet OR Rifinah (trade mark) which has
Rifampicin 150mg and Isoniazid 100mg per tablet
I hope this is useful
