Dear E-druggers,

Has anyone had any experience crushing malarone prior to administration? I
have a client with a severe swallowing difficulty due to oesophageal
stricture who cannot swallow the tablet whole as recommended in the PI.

I have contacted several local and national drug information services as
well as the company. We understand that the tablet may be extremely bitter
and cause GI upset, but no-one is able to tell me whether the effectiveness
of the tablet is impaired by crushing.

Any help greatly received
