Dear colleagues,

Can I ask for your opinion on why gentamicin or ( aminoglycoside ) should
be given infusion and not bolus? ( I have checked from Micromedex and I
found the instruction of administration as " cannot give bolus " ). With
the resources I have tried to search for the answer for the difference
between giving IV bolus and IV Infusion but in vain .
Do you have any idea on that matter?

Thanks a million
