INDICES> Guidelines for penicillin hypersensitivity testing?
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello compatriots

I am writng from a multi speciality teaching hospital in India
named Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. We are involved in
clinical Pharmacy Service provision in the same hospital . I am
interested in knowing an information that is of interest to most
of the clinicians in our hospital . We tried many resources but
were unable to get any information about the same.

My query is: What is the latest Guidelines for beta lactum or
peniciliin hypersensitivity testing. Is it really recommended now
in all patients? Is there any clear cut guidelines that have been
developed stating if it can be administered to all patients with
testing only or we have to suspect it only in patients with an
established risk factors.

Requesting all your experienced comments on the same.

Thanx

regards
