INDICES> clarithromycin

The Ministry of Health of Japan has decided that hepatic dysfunction,
jaundice and rhabdomyolysis be included in the "clinically
significant adverse reactions" section of clarithromycin-containing
products. This has been reported in The WHO Drug Information Vol.15
No.2, 2001 as labelling change for clarythromycin.

I would like to know if similar action has been taken in any other
country and what evidence if any available has been used to support this
action.
