INDICES> ecstasy / impurities / immunodeficiency?

Hallo,

we have a patient in our hospital with a severe immunodeficiency 
syndrome. He is consuming ecstasy. HIV- infection excluded
Could that be a side- effect of ecstasy or its impurities?
A Medline research was not successful.

Has anyone an idea? Please let me know
