INDICES> Arinate vs Arsumax (4)
------------------------------------------

Dear Mr Daya,

There is a WHO publication with the title 'The use of artemisinin & its
derivatives as antimalarial drugs. Report of a joint CTD/DMP/TDR informal
consultation. Geneva, 10-12 June 1998.' WHO/MAL/98.1086

This has relevant information and a list of participants with contact
addresses that you could use to contact some of them to get information on
the follow-up of the recommendations in the report. From the (former) DMP,
now EDM at WHO dr Couper, dr Idanpaan-Heikkila and M Schmid participated.
There were also people from other divisions at HQ and from regional WHO
offices. And other invited experts.

For those of you with access to the GPHF Minilab (search E-drug archives at
www.satellife.healthnet.org/programs/edrug.html for more information), they
have just made available artesunate testing.

Regards
