Dear Indices Users,
INDICES> ATROPINE (IN PLACE OF IPRATROPIUM) AND SALBUTAMOL BY NEBULISER
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ipratropium bromide is expensive for our setting. And we get asthmatics
who need anti-muscarinic medication. We intend to recommend atropine
injection, to be used as a nebuliser solution -- in place of unaffordable
ipratropium.
Our major worries have to do with the composition of atropine injection.
Also, interactions between atropine, salbutamol and oxygen. The dosage of
atropine by nebuliser is not documented too.
We intend to recommend:
Give salbutamol and atropine by nebuliser
Is it safe?
