Dear Lakshmi,

I think it is still very early to decide whether to use the third generation
hepatitis B vaccine. In Pakistan, the doctors have still not widely recommended
its use because like you put it cost is major factor especially in the
government sector and the company promoting its use has yet to convince
many of them. Although I believe some might under the influence of the pharma
companies prescribe them but generally, i would say to wait until more results are
published about its efficacy and safety over the second generation
vaccine.
