Dear INDICESsers,

I would like to know something about ornitin vasopressin, a drug not
approved in Italy, but very much requested by gynaecologists in hospitals 
as a haemostatic agent during myomectomy.

A medline search didn't show any relevant randomized clinical trial,
moreover it is associated with increased blood pressure (Janky E et al.
1991).

I am very interested to know what are the indications approved in foreign
countries.
