Sulfalene / pyrimethamine combination VS Sulfadoxine / pyrimethamine 

In Uganda, sulfalene / pyrimethamine combination (is marketed as
metakelfin) and sulfadoxine / pyrimethamine combination (is marketed as
fansidar).  

Is it true that metakelfin is superior to fansidar?  In terms of side -
effect profile, developement of resistance and therapeutic effect as
antimalarial.
