INDICES> Re: Sodium Chloride Eye Drops (cont)
---------------------------------------------
Dear Gerard,
I have a feeling this might not be a frequently used product and that could
be one reason for the high price (no producer, low sale), in addition
sterile products are always expensive. In my country we use sodium chloride
for nose drops, but not as eye drops. However, sodium chloride is used as
irrigation for eyes, then sold in bottles of 100 ml or more sterile
solution.
What would be the indication for sodium chloride eyedrops? The two
'neutral' products I could think about would be artificial tears used for
dry eyes and zinc eyedrops used for red eyes (irritation).
Kind regards
Kirsten
