Dear colleague,
What would you need i.v. ibuprofen for? It is a relatively weak
NSAID and hardly a good emergency pain killer. It is a highly acidic
propionic acid derivative, and, as most similar drug, quite irritant to
tissues. There is a lysine salt (Solprofen) and a methylglucamine salt
(Artrene) on the market, but I don't know where, and whether it is
suitable for i.v. administration.
