Dear indices users,

1. Has Cisapride Tablet Monograph been introduced in the 2000 edition of 
the British Pharmacopoeia?

2. If not, why is monograph for formulated preparation not included in
BP since it is imperative that the Medicinal /Pharmaceutical Substance
specified in BP is going to be used to formulate a product and hence
monograph on formulated preparation would ensure that the final product
too complies with BP specification.

3. What is the criteria for inclusion of a monograph for
Medicinal / Pharmaceutical Substance and Formulated Preparation for
the same in the the British Pharmacopoeia.
