Regarding the recent correspondence about iodised salt, INDICES subscribers
may not know about the International Council for Control of Iodine
Deficiency Disorders.  IDD is a non-profit NGO which was set up to
eradicate iodine deficiency throughout the world; it can be reached via the
Executive Director Dr Francois Delange:

There is a quarterly free newsletter, which is edited by Dr J.T.Dunn, who
