Hi all

In a very significant move, Medscape has made available really 
useful drug information on the web. Read the news at HealthLink 
Bulletin (http://news.hst.org.za/view.php3?id=20000517)
This is a comprehensive service, giving one access to the complete 
set of information, from the chemical structure and basic 
pharmacology to the clinically-relevant, patient-orientated packaged 
material - very impressive!

Medscape has combined two drug databases on the web into one 
comprehensive resource. Information from the National Drug Data 
File from FirstDataBank, and the American Hospital Formulary 
Service Drug Information reference from the American Society of 
Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Find information on drug-drug 
and drug-food interactions, uses and dosage, preparations, adverse 
effects, and four other categories for every drug. Patient education
handouts are available for printing and distributing. Check it out at:
