There was some discussion on this on E-drug in 1997/98 (search 
http://www.healthnet.org/programs/edrug.html) started by Olle Pascal of 
ICRC. I have copied his final comment and address below. I suggest you get 
in touch with him. I had a comment in the E-drug discussion about use of im 
chloramphenicol.
