INDICES: Pre-eclampsia and aspirin
----------------------------------

At one point aspirin was believed to be helpful in preventing
pre-eclampsia but the most recent and largest of the studies found no
benefit. I would not recommend its use. The reference is:

Caritis S, Sibai B, Hauth J, Lindheimer MD, Klebanoff M, Thom E, et al.
Low-dose aspirin to prevent preeclampsia in women at high risk. N Engl J
Med 1998;338:701-5.
