INDICES>Chloroquine injection

Last month I asked a question about the effect of light on
Chloroquine injection, Nacy answered that USP DI monograph says
nothing about chloroquine being photosensitive, and Mahmood Daya
quoted Martindale 30th edition that the drug be protected from light.
I still consider that my question is not sufficiently answered as
we intend to take regulatory action.

Can any one send more concrete reasons stating the chemical effect of light
on stability of drug so that we take regulatory
action?.
