Dear friends,
I need any information about experience/case reposrt/clincal study on
pharmacotherapeutic treatment of hypertrophic pyloric stenosis in neonates.
One of our university pediatric departments is willing to experimentally use
nitrates, based on NO deficiency etiological theory, in 4-6 weeks old
children with this disease.
I searched compendias as martindale etc. and databases as Medline, Embase,
CC to find some piece of evidence but failed to. The only record, partially
related to this matter, was about unsucessfull use of biopterin as NO
promoter in such diagnosis.
Even information about doses on nitrates which can be used in such small
children help me a lot.
Thank you very much
Hana
