______________________________

Dear Natalia,

The Cochraine Colaboration did a review in 1995 on Calcium channel
blockers in potential impaired foetal growth Author Gulmezoglu AM et
al.(I can post you a copy if you remind me of your address).

They
also have in their library a paper from the 10th world congress -
International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy Aug
4-6 1996 Seattle Washington Entitled Intravenous nimodipine in the
management of severe pre eclampsia : a double blind randomised
controlled trial Author Belfort M et al (they may be able to send
you a copy).

I also have available 3 references
The haemodynamic & respiratory effects of IV nimodipine used in the
treatment of eclampsia. Anthony J et al. Br J Obstet Gynaecol 1996:
103(6): 518-22

The use of nimodipine in a patient with eclampsia: colour flow dopler
demonstration of retinal artery relaxation Belfort M et al Am J
Obstet Gynaecol 1993 ;169(1): 204-6

Widespread cerebral ischaemia treated with nimodipine in a patient
with eclampsia Horne e et al BMJ 1990; 301(6755:) 794.

There is also a 4th article which I do not have easy access to which
is Nimodipine in the management of preeclampsia: maternal & foetal
effects. Am J Obstst Gynecol 1994: 171 (2): 417-24
Comments in Am J Obstet Gynecol 1995 may; 172(5): 1652-4 and Jul;
173(1):349.

Hope this is useful. If you would like any thing sent by post please
let me know your address and I will sent it out immediately
