According to Micromedix database:

Flomax from Italy contains morniflumate, a prodrug of the
nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug niflumic acid, which has been
advocated for use in febrile and non febrile inflammatory bronchial,
otorhinolaryngologic, genitourinary, and osteoarticular disorders and
minor surgical pain in adults and children.

Adverse effects have included:
Blood effects: agranulocytosis.
Central Nervous System: dizziness, headache.
Gastrointestinal Effects: epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea,
diarrhoea, dyspepsia, vomiting, gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal
bleeding, foecal occult blood loss.
Kidney/Genitourinary: oliguria, water retention, proteinurea,
interstitial nephritis.
Liver Effects: liver damage, hepatitis.
Skin Effects: toxic epidermal necrolysis.
Musculoskeletal Effects: skeletal fluorosis, hypocalcaemia,
hypocalciuria.
Muscle Effects: rhabdomyolysis.

According to Martindale (31st edition):

Ambromucil contains ambroxol hydrochloride, a mucolytic agent used in
the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with viscid or
excessive mucous.
Its adverse effects have included hypersensitivity.
