Flomax is Morniflumate made by Chiesi In Italy. It is a nicotinic acid
derivative NSAID indicated for pain and inflammation. Pg 63 in current
Martindale.
NB Flomax is also a brand name for Tamsulosin in some countries but this is
an alpha-blocker for prostatic hypertrophy !

Ambromucil is Ambroxol (p 1062, Martindale), a metabolite of bromhexine. It
is used in some countries as a mucolytic agent for repiratory disorders etc.
including cystic fibrosis. The evidence to support its value in the
treatment of these conditions is weak.

In the interests of quality drug information it is good to see
reference sources quoted. Perhaps we can do more of this in our
responses ?
