Thailands draft drug bill (1)

Thailand has issued a draft pharma/drug bill last year, which requires pharma companies to disclose the cost structure of drugs at the time of submission of the new drug application. This draft bill empowers the Drug Regulatory Agency not to approve any application, if the concerned patented product has an 'improper cost structure'. PhRMA has raised serious concerns over this issue in its 'Special 301' submission to USTR in 2008.
