Dear health professionals,
I like to know how fair it is to prescribe folic acid 5mg to pregnant women as a prophylaxis, and planning for pregnancy cases. And why folic acid 5mg being prescribed widely than the preferred dose of 400mcg to 800mcg per day? If appropriate health professionals explain, this will be of great use for the prescribers.
