Dear All,
I work for a NGO which provides health services to marginalized and underserved populations. We have recently received a donation of disposable syringes which
thrilled us all.  The only problem I perceive is that the syringes were manufactured in
Oct 1999 and the expiry date stamped on them is Sept 2004!! 
Can a plastic product actually have a life beyond which it could pose a health hazard?
