Banning of drugs in India (2)
****************************

Dear Friends,
Banning of drugs in India is a very desperately needed step. Nobody (including the Drug Authorities) knows exactly how many drugs and combinations we have (5000?) in the market in India. We have more than laky brands (!!!!!!!) in the country, making life hell for pharmacies, patients, and doctors. Activists need to take consorted efforts, draw up an action plan, and keep pursuing this matter. Even the efforts of a single individual (Dr Jacob John), has had so much effect, I am sure, efforts from all of us jointly will take us to the desired results. It would be encouraging if all of us suggested some points to build a sustainable action plan.
