High incidence of drug-resistant TB in India (3)

In 1993, we learned that we could invest in health expecting economic gains. This was after the seminal paper by Chris Murray. Now it looks as if we have to invest in health - in a massive way that too to avoid economic losses!!!
Can we make the Goverment take this up on a war footing and make all labs start testing for MDR and XDR TB?
