Dear Dr Banerji,

It  is  rather unfortunate that in India the pharmacist does not enjoy the  same  position  of  trust  as  its  counterparts  in  many  other countries.  Primarily, I believe, it is due to inadequate attention to revision  and  updating  of  the curricula. I am firmly of the opinion that  only  if  we  have  better  knowledge  base,  are we going to be accepted as professionals like the medical persons and nurses.
