This is in response to your message posted in India - Drug regarding Drug Formulary.  The government of India has an essential drugs list 2003.  Many state governments like Tamil Nadu, Chatisgarh, and Delhi too have EDL (many more perhaps). The list of Tamil Nadu is available in the website of Tamil Medical Service Corporation Limited. The website is: http://www.tnmsc.com.
Chatisgarh has developed a formulary similar to WHO formulary.
