The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is conducting a scientific research project on medication safety from February to April 2007.
The aim of the project is to explore existing medication error reporting systems in different countries and, in countries, which do not have error reporting systems, to study their readiness to develop and implement a national medication error reporting system.
In order to conduct the project, we would ask you to provide us contact details of an expert/experts or person/people working with medication safety issues in your country or state. We would be extremely grateful if you could send us the name and organization of the person, and if possible the e-mail address or other contact details. Please send the contact information to anna-riia.terzibanjan@helsinki.fi as soon as possible, by
Tuesday 3rd of April the latest.
The research project is carried out in co-operation with the FIP, the University of Bath, UK, and the University of Helsinki, Finland.
Should you have any other queries about the study, please do not hesitate to contact me preferably by e-mail to anna-riia.terzibanjan@helsinki.fi, or by calling to +44 (0) 1225 383829 or +44 (0) 7951 326303.
Thank you for your support.
Yours sincerely,
