Dear Members,

With reference to the fear raised by Dr. Murli, I wish to inform that no mosquito repellant coil or mat (chemical or herbal) can be sold without registration. The registration process involves thorough scrutiny of safety data (acute, sub acute, chronic and supplementary toxicity studies) of the product and also conduct of health monitoring studies in inhabitants by exposing them (male, female, and children) to the product and only when the product is found safe, it is registered for use. However, it is important to use the product as per the label claims.
