Dear All,
   
I would like to initiate the debate and discussion on ?Self Medication of Antibiotics? In India. I really would like receive the comments on:
   
  1.      Is it rampant? If yes, why?
  2.      What can be done to minimize it?
  3.      Do we have appropriate public education on this topic?
  4.      Is the rising cost of newer generation of antibiotics responsible for patient to directly make a choice of antibiotic,in event of any illness?
  5.      Is there any reliable data on extent of Self Medication of Antibiotics in our country? Preferably state wise.
