Dear Members,
I agree with Lakshmi as our goal is to serve the community and we need to train our pharmacists at undergraduate level itself. It can be achieved only by revising the curriculum at UG level. Curriculum should be bifurcated in such a way that students should have option to opt for Pharmacy Practice (Hospital, Clinical & Community) or  industry. For the first two years there should be common subjects and third year onwards they should have an option to go for any one of these two streams. It will help a lot to improve knowledge, attitude and practices of the pharmacists who are working at community level. So I feel the problem lies in our curriculum itself.
