I refer to Dr Patvardhan's recent question on India drug ?can  pharmacists really be an able qualified helping hand to the doctor in India in near future?".

In this context and setting the tone for a debate on the subject, below is a message form E-drug detailing a recent publication on 'Developing pharmacy prcatice'. This handbook has the big message 'there is an important and rewarding professional role for  pharmacists beyond pharmaceutical product supply and management'.
