unnecessary wastage of medicines (4)
*************************************
Dear All,
Can anyone suggest me, if there is any standard rule that how much amount of medicines, out of the total budget for drugs can be accepted? For example, <1%, 1%, 2% or >2%.......of the total budget on medicines.
I understand that in a country like India with limited budget on health we have short supply of medicines and
due to poor management of medicine distribution at different levels,
large amount of medicines get expired, whereas on the other hand we have
shortage of medicines for our people. But we always make a hue and cry that
Govt. is not fulfilling the demand of medicines. But are we bother about the negligence in our part to mismanaegemnt of medicines.
Need for a concerted efforts.
Reagrds,
