Patient Package Insert (9)

While I agree that the ADRs are on an increase, the package insert will be 
seen by the patient only after getting the medicine. If these are designed 
properly e.g. giving information about precautions, adverse effects etc., 
it may promote cautious medication or prevent self-medication. In many 
countries the patients FASS (Book for information to patient) is available 
and helps in education of patients.
