Thank you Dr Sampada for this shocking information.
In the era of 'Right to Information', how can you deprive the information about the drug products to the consumers? And yes, PPI is used by even doctors, nurses, patients, and pharmacist.
The argument that there is no need to provide extra information to the patient, which creates confusion is baseless. The benefits obtained from PPI definitely outweigh the production cost of PPI.In fact; PPI educates the patients regarding the use and adverse effects of the drugs.
