Going by the saying that little knowledge is a dangerous thing, I feel that PPIs in a way promote the concept of self medication. If there are no such sheets people may be compelled to consult doctors for problems and clarifications. As for doctors needing specific information, this can be provided to them separately by pharmaceutical companies.
