[india-drug] Patient Package Insert (PPI)(3) ****************************

Dear members, 
I feel that PPIs are as essential as that of labelling in
educating the patient. OTC products' PPI is important at the same time,
prescription products used for chronic ailments also require PPIs beacause
patient can  immediately check if any ADE occurs and his pharmacist or
physician can be consulted. Especially for patients with polypharmacy PPI
is very important. How many doctors are free enough/equipped enough to
discuss required drug information with the patients? I do not think it may
promote any self medication. Consumers are intelligent.!!!
