I feel this concept is good but what we need is a more systematic approach to this concept.
   
  1) We may think of making a list of drugs that may come under the "Household remedies". In this regard Dr Bapna and Dr Dandiya's help may be taken as they are the authors of a very successful book "The Family Medicine"

  2) Maybe write a small "Standard treatment Guidelines"
  3) And based on the above, train teachers etc
   
  All this may take time but I am sure it will help in the long run to promote 'Rational use' of household drugs.
