Dear Dr. Gurudas Khilani,

It is indeed very gratifying to see so many of you making serious
effort to bring out long overdue changes in the teaching methodology of
pharmacology for MBBS students. It is high time that Clinical
Pharmacology, Rational selection and prescribing of drugs,the concept of P
drugs, rationally selecting and writing prescriptions and chart
orders. Practical trainig in the correct way of administering drugs by
various routes etc. can be introduced I understand you are having the IPS
meeting in Jaipur Dr. Mukul Mathur is the organizing Secretary.You have
locally such eminent teachers like Profs. P.C.Dandiya, Prof J.S. Bapna and I
think it is high time you arrange a meeting of all concerned and come out
with concrete recommendations for the Medical Council of India.
