Dear members,

My name is John Stanford from the FIT, Florida Institute of Technology. I am
currently conducting a study on R&D in India, especially in the field of new
vaccine discovery and new antigen discovery.

The field of Biotechnology in India has been in effervescence for a few
years now, especially when dealing with human pharmaceuticals. A great
number of companies are involved in Research and Development of new vaccines
and promising results are foreseen. The quality of the human workforce is
truly the key factor that makes India a priviledged destination for
Research.

I am looking for information about the current trends in new vaccine
discovery. The task is enormous since the number of players is important.
the analysis of institutions's websites alone keeps me busy for long hours
(AIIMS, NII, IISc...), as well as communications from private companies (Dr.
Reddy's, Ranbaxy, Shantha...).

I am currently interested in the listing of ongoing projects published by
the DBT, India, which gives a rapid overview of research in selected
institutions. I am soliciting your help and expert visions in guiding me
towards relevant sources of information.

Again, many thanks for letting me be part of this very insightful group of
discussion.

Kind Regards,
John Stanford
